Love plans Omak concert

Reggae singer Mike Love will perform at 7 p.m. at the Omak Performing Arts Center, 20 S. Cedar St., Feb. 24 at 7.

His unique style and message based music has entertained thousands of people around the world. He performed five nights a week on the U.S. East Coast last summer and performed to a sold-out audience of 30,000 in South America in November 2022.

Love’s music draws his listeners in with his unique style and lyrical journey. His sound is rooted in the message-based music of reggae and Rastafari, fusing progressive and classic rock, soul, blues, jazz, flamenco, classical and more.

“I am very excited to announce that I will be playing at the Performing Arts Center in Omak," Love said. "My wife grew up in this area and we have been spending summers there since we met and fell in love 18 years ago. This will be a very special show for me with lots of family and friends in attendance. Kendra’s grandfather was on the original board at the inception of the Omak PAC."

Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for students. Children age four and younger are admitted free.

Tickets are available at Rawsons, Kelley Connect, Tonasket Interiors and online at omakpac.org. ♦
